Our SnapMag case is not required for the SnapMount 3 to work, but it is highly recommended for the best experience as the SnapMag case has a built in SnapMag ring meaning you won't have to attach this separately to your phone or case.
In each SnapMount 3 box, you will receive 1x SnapMag Ring. This is a magnetic ring that you should place on the outside of either your phone or phone case, so it can be in direct contact with the SnapMount. This is required for your phone to magnet onto the mount if you do not have the iPhone 12 or above series or you use a case if your own.
