Our SnapMag case is not required for the PowerDuo to work, but it is highly recommended for the best experience as the SnapMag case has a built-in SnapMag ring meaning you won't have to attach this separately to your phone or case, removing the human error which may come with attaching the ring.
In each PowerDuo box, you will receive 1x SnapMag ring. This is a magnetic ring that you should place on the outside of either your phone or phone case, so it can be in direct contact with the PowerDuo. This is required for your phone to magnetically snap onto the stand if you do not have an iPhone 12 or later device or you use your own case that is not MagSafe/SnapMag compatible.
